IUIGA have just opened their 3rd and largest Retail+ store in Tampines 1! Thank you IUIGA for the invitation to the grand opening over the weekend. Brought Alvin and Arielle along and while I was checking out the store, Alvin carried Arielle and they both had their own!

Had a chat with one of the co-founders, Jaslyn, who explained the concept of the store. She said that their two new stores in Tampines 1 and Causeway Point are expansions of the 4 in 1‘New Retail’ concept that they introduced in their SingPost Centre pop-up store. From the start, their aim was to use technology to bring a new shopping experience that places the customer first. Thus, the stores that they have opened are designed to bring you a seamless online to offline ‘New Retail’ shopping experience. By making full use of their retail space, they are incorporating a 4 in 1 experience.
1. Showroom: Stores serve as a space to let people feel and experience the IUIGA quality.
2. Retail Space: We can purchase our products in the store.
3. Pick-up Point: We can buy products online and pick up the products in any of the stores.
4. Exchange our Online Purchases In Store: Return and exchange our online purchase with ease. It is a 1- for-1 exchange in store as long as the item is available in store.
This is also how they are able to achieve the same price offline and online despite rent being so expensive in Singapore.
As for the New Retail+ part, it's actually quite useful and not gimmicky at all.
I love how we can launch the IUIGA app, scan QR code of products to get more information!
We can even choose to add item to cart and check out- cashless payment!!
There’s also a cool RFID screen where you can scan the products in front of the screen to read reviews.
