Arrived in Seoul on Friday and as it was free and easy trip, after we got our luggages, we went to get our bus tickets to our hotel in Myeongdong. Take Airport Limousine Bus 6015 goes to Myeongdong and it cost 15,000 won (SGD18) per person.

You can get the bus tickets from the ticket booth inside the arrival hall (1st Floor) near Gates 4 and Gate 9 or over the bus ticket selling counter below.

There's a 20% discount coupon for Lotte World so do not throw the ticket away!
Bus 6015 pick up is at either exit 5B or exit 11B outside the arrival hall (1st Floor).
The ride is said to be roughly 1-1.5 hours to Myeongdong Station but we were blessed with good traffic so we arrived in under an hour!

It was raining when we arrived so after checking in at our hotel in Myeongdong, we took a quick bite from the first tteokbokki near our hotel and caught the train to Seoul Station which was just 2 stops away.

In 2015 when I was in Seoul, we resided in an Airbnb apartment located at Seoul Station so I thought we head there since it was raining. Most of the shopping districts in Seoul is outdoor so Seoul Station is a good place because there is a shopping mall, food court and favorite Lotte Mart there!

We had lunch at the food court there. The kimbap set cost only 5000 won!

Our lunch spread! Ramen with cheese, bimbimbap, kimbap set and jjajangmyeon!

Headed to Lotte Mart at the next building to do some snacks shopping! We usually do this on the last day but since it was raining haha! Lotte Mart is a good place for tourists because they provide carton boxes, tape and strings for you to pack your buys! Remember to bring your passport along cause you can claim VAT at Lotte Mart!

We bought a few boxes of wheat/green tea, honey tong tong, limited edition banana choco pie, mega sized spicy prawn crackers, Belgium waffles and cheese chips (bought so many of these when I was here in 2015, super addictive!)

The Seoul Station's Lotte Mart sells groceries, daily essentials, fashion items, and much more. The store occupies the second and third floors of the building!

Day 1 was light for us as we stayed in our hotel area, Myeongdong. So convenient that once we head down, we were in the prime shopping area! Dinner was at Myeongdong Gyoja (Gyoza), Mommy's favorite place to dine at for the whole trip!
 photo DSC00625.jpg
Highly recommended place by a lot of people, Zonia saw our aunts posted this place when they dined there months ago and Melody texted me to say Myeongdong Kyoja is a must go!

The chopped noodles is a Korean traditional noodle dish made by Myeongdong Kyoja own recipe. Harmonized with thick and plain chick broth boiled for hours! This bowl is 8000 won.

The dumpling is so good! Myeongdong Kyoja traditional steamed dumplings are made of top grade minced korean pork, leek, fresh vegetable and homemade sesame oil.

The skin is so thin that it is translucent and each had so much filings!
10 dumplings is 10,000 won!

We ordered 2 bowls of their signature chopped noodles and 1 portion of 10 gyoza that is 26,000 won. Wanted to eat more but we were leaving our tummies for street food!

2 boxes for 8000 won strawberries!

Ended Day 1 early because we didn't get a good rest on the plane. Only had 2 hours of sleep on the red eye flight.

Dear Reader, because of the language barrier in Korea, it was a challenge to get the exact names and addresses of all the places I ate at! I will try to pen down the directions best to my ability. Hopefully, it is sufficient and useful for you to navigate there!
