We spent the day of Day 6 exploring Nara Park (奈良公園, Nara Kōen), a large park in central Nara! Nara Park is a five minute walk from Kintetsu Nara Station or a about a 20 minute walk from JR Nara Station. We were initially very excited to see the first few deers but after that, we got less excited haha because the park is home to hundreds of freely roaming deer!
Deer crackers are for sale around the park, and some deer have learned to bow to visitors to ask to be fed! This is really amazing! A tip is to keep the crackers in your pocket right after you buy them because the deers may hound you and you end up feeding them dry within seconds! Some of the deers may be aggressive for food too, so it is best to just hold 1 cracker at a time.
Started the morning with Mcdonalds (again!).
This deer is smart, just hanging around the cracker stall!
The park is huge and as you walk on, you will come across a street that sell food and some souvenirs! We got 2 rice cracker to share, they are supposed to be freshly made with the seasoning of your choice but sadly, lao hong leh (soft already).
I look so happy, before i took a bite haha!
Best photo bombs ever! :D

We left Nara Park and headed back to the city area. Shopped a bit and then hunted for Matsuya (松屋), another major Gyudon restaurant similar to Yoshinoya for dinner. Matsuya was recommended by Yina! I felt that the beef portion was more generous? But the pork bowl isn't as good as Yoshinoya's!
Pork Bowl
Walked around after dinner and had the best sesame mochi ball ever! Wished I took a photo but Asmo and I gobbled it down in no time. It was deep-fried and still moist and soft. Inside was oozing sesame filling, really thick and a lot! Super generous and it was really cheap. It's a random, china bun shop that was selling.
We walked down the lane more and saw Luke's Lobster which Janice said was very popular. We weren't hungry so we just got 1 bun to share. It was disappointing. Super salty... thankfully there wasn't a queue for it. :X
