Road trip out of Tokyo city to visit whisky distilleries today! The road trip was nothing but scenic views!
We went to pick up our rented car, oh boy I was on heels that day, thinking since it was going to be a road trip and I won't have to walk much... but the walk to find the car rental wasn't the smoothest. haha! So after we picked the car, we went to the family mart just next door to get our fuel for the trip! We always go crazy at supermarkets.
Couldn't read so I got a nice customer to pick the nicest ones for me haha! All using hand signs lol!
We were greeted with this view as we drove to the distillery.
And since we were ahead of schedule, we stopped by to get some pictures!

Next was to Ichiro Distillery! The view was just as captivating as we took our drive over!

We were famished by the time we were done. Stopped by 7-11 to grab some food before we took our 2 hour drive back to the city! I had the best onigiri!! It actually has half an onsen egg with some meat omg!
Ended the night with ichiran ramen and went out with the boys for some drinks.
They were hungry and we stopped by this sushi place where the plates were just 140 yen each! :D
SO happy to be at Ichiran!! The last I had a bowl was in 2014 when my gugu brought me there! I have been craving for a bowl after since! And boy, we were so lucky!! We were there slightly before the dinner crowd at 6pm and there was no queue but when we were done with our ramen, the queue was insane! The queue formed from basement till the top!
