Woke up really early to catch our ride to the domestic airport for our flight to Jeju-do!! Third time to Korea but the first time to Jeju so I was really excited! I've seen so much of Jeju on Korean dramas, it's like a location which they would film at for every drama! Alvin is super good with planning of itineraries so I am always in good hands. With the help of Pris for this trip, we had everything mapped out nicely for us!
First meal at Jeju-do after we checked into our apartment! For the first night, we were residing at a guesthouse near Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak, where we were going to catch the sunrise the next morning!
First stop after lunch was Manjanggul Cave!
Manjanggul Cave is one of the finest lava tunnels in the world, and is a designated natural monument. A lava tunnel is formed when the lava that was deep in the ground spouts from the peak and flows to the surface.
This shot was taken at the end of the cave, that is a long 2km walk!
It was quite an experience for me. It was a long, wet, uneven and cold walk in the cave. There was only an entrance and so, that was the very same exit.
More abalones! :D
We rented 2 cars to move around in Jeju. It was so convenient to drive around and stopping at where ever we wanted! We drove up the ferry to U-Do Island too!
Mermaid Pose with the lighthouse!
Denson decided to join us
No filter needed!
Took this shot of the beautiful horses with my iPhone!
BTS// while Alvin sets the camera
Dinner!// Seafood those were live abalones!!
More abalones! :D
Every night, we would go back to our hotel/ apartment, bathe and gather again for some drinks, a lot of snacks and chat. So much laughter, I miss that so much now.
And the last shot for the day was our breakfast for the next morning. We didn't have to use a fridge, we put our food outside our loft's window! (:

Hi Zoe, I am planning my Jeju trip and looking for accommodation that is near Seongsan llchulbong Peak as I don't intend to drive in Jeju. May I know which guesthouse did you stay at Seongsan IIchulbong Peak? Is the guest house within walkable distance to the Peak?
