Abacus International Conference 2014 in Abu Dhabi!

I'm back from spending 5 days at Abacus International Conference 2014 in Abu Dhabi! It wasn't exactly an exciting place to visit but it was really a great experience for me! So Abacus holds a conference for our top travel agencies once every 2 years! The markets in Asia Pacific will all send in their top agencies for some fun and product updates.

Arrived at the hotel at around 1am and here's a hotel tour. We resided at Crown Plaza Abu Dhabi! The room was fantastic! (;

Dressed in Hollyhoque for the whole trip, some of the clothes are to be released so look out for them!! I woke up really early every morning cause of the 4 hours time difference. So every morning, I wake up at 2am, 4am Abu Dhabi's time which is actually 6am/ 8am Singapore's time. But thankful I still kept my energy high for the sightseeing, shopping and conferences!

So I woke up on the first day early, I went to the gym to do some yoga!!

Came back and had a hot bath tub shower before heading down to roam the hotel.

My colleague, Paul, was already at breakfast so I had company woohoo! After breakfast, we roamed the hotel and the hotel vicinity!

We walked about 30 minutes before heading back to the hotel to meet up with the rest of the delegates for a day of visit to Etihad Innovation Centre and shopping at Souk Market at the Central Market!!

and shopping at Souk Market is a place where you can get all the traditional lamps, decorative, clothes and also spices, nuts and dates!

We spend the longest time at this snack shop! Bought some almond and cashew nuts, chocolates dates for the family. We were allowed to try so we had a great time sampling! :D

We made the owner super happy that he decided to join us in our group photo outside his shop hahaha!

Went back to the hotel after 2 hours of shopping to prepare for the Welcome Dinner at Rosewood Abu Dhabi.

Day 2 started with Conference and Exhibition at Yas Events Centre. The set up was so beautiful, holding about 400 of our delegates.

Went back to shower and prepare for the Conference Dinner at Ritz Carlton Hotel Abu Dhabi where the theme was Arabian Night!

I didn't prepare anything grand and to the theme except for the ling ling long long head piece which Sheila lent me! :D

Truly taken aback when we arrived at Ritz Carlton's lobby! It was so well decorated to our Arabian Night theme! The mar comms of AIPL always does such great job!!

We continued the night with round 2 at Yas Viceroy's Burlesque! Burlesque was AMAZING!! It was a really private place so we almost had the whole place to ourselves!
