Woke up feeling very excited because we were going to Coral Island!! As shared in the last post, we took up a package at the travel agent where we paid 1200 baht (S$47) per pax. This S$47 also includes 2-way transport from the resort!
Camwhoring while the girls were preparing!
With Eugene on the car there!
The ride from the resort was about 30 minutes. The transport would stop by 1 or 2 other resorts to pick up other guests. Arriving at Nikorn Marine!!
Briefing!
All ready to pile up the speedboats to Coral Island!!
Each had to pick up a life vest!
All Aboard!! We took the best seats in our opinion, right at the front of the speedboat where it was not sheltered.
The ride was about 15 minutes only. It was very fun!! The boat was very fast and somewhat like on a mini roller coaster cause there were some jumps here and there! Woo!! :D :D
Coral Island!!
Coral Island, though not as beautiful as Redang, reminded me very much of my vacation there! It's been a long while since I did some water sports. I scuba dived at Redang and it was a really good experience!! We had a underwater photographer with us so you can see some great shots here! Teehee! This time round, I just snorkeled a little and relaxed on my life vest; going where-ever the waters and wind took me.
I wished I had an underwater camera or a phone that was waterproof at that point of time so I could take more pictures. So we just took some photos and then loaded all our stuff into the lockers before we hit the waters.
Bye Coral Island!!!
Went back to the resort for a good bath and rested before we went back to the foot of the resort for seafood dinner! There's a row of seafood restaurants and it was quite tough to choose which to go to. Basically we do not know which is good cause they looked pretty much the same. We decided to the one which looked best decorated and clean- and no dogs cause Jermaine is terrified of them hahahaha!
Jasmine Seafood Restaurant
Rattan Furniture!
100 baht cocktails!
Service at Jasmine was good. The staff were very friendly and prompt. It's not easy to come across friendly staff in Phuket, we have met really nasty ones which made us ponder if Thailand is really still the Land of Smiles.
Tom Yum Goong again! haha!
Pineapple Fried Rice- HUGE!!
Fried Thai Glass Noodles. We have decided that we have had enough Pad Thai haha!!
Curry Crabs!
Morning Glory!
Jermaine and Pei Pei feasting!!! :D
With Eugene and Steven!
I was all wrapped up because mosquitoes love me. I am the only one getting bitten the whole trip and the rest got none at all. Probably because I'm A blood? Heard that A blooded people are sweeter hahaha!!
Thai Fish Cake
Omelette
Steamed Fish with lemon sauce
Our last night in Phuket was no different from the rest of the nights haha! The plan for our last day was Elephant trekking!! Jermaine has been dying to see chang!
