Pasta Brava

Outfit of the day before heading out to work! Thanks Daddy for helping me take the shots! (:

Had lunch with Christine and Mabs over at Pasta Brava. Leron was there recently and highly recommended this place. We made a table reservation at 1pm so to avoid the lunch crowd but when we were there slightly after 1, the place was really packed! Seems like we were at the right place? (((:

We didn't know what to order cause the menu was full of words and no pictures. I like my menus with a lot of pictures to help me decide which to get. So the lazy me left Mabs and Chris to take the order. We ordered 2 appetizers and 2 mains to share.

The girls love scallops, not much a fan of them but Pasta Brava's scallop is served with CHEESE! Yummyyyy!! :D :D

Capesante Alla Cardinale Gratinate. S$18

Scallops sauteed with white wine, bechamel sauce and oven-glazed. This is super good!!!

Calamari Fritti. S$16

Fried squid rings served with homemade spiced tomato sauce.

Tagliolini Con Aragostra. S$30

Tagliolini with half lobster, cherry tomato sauce.

Risoto Nero Alla Singonia Dei Nostri Mari

Arborio rice cooked with seafood and squid ink, flavored with white wine S$23

It wasn't as fantastic as we thought it would be. Pretty disappointed with the lobster pasta. The Risotti was good though the appearance failed badly! It was cooked with squid ink and I never tried squid ink before, let alone riostti style.

Lunch ended with a serving of Tiramisu to share.

We were too full to get more than 1 dessert. I like their tiramisu because it's not stingy with Rum! This slice is at S$10! (:

It was only until we left each other that we realized that we didn't get any photos together boohoo! And Mabs even brought her Polaroid! But, it's alright cause we will meet soon! x
