My roomie for the next 2 nights was Dawn. And we were captivated by our room!!

We were famished and went down to meet up with the rest for our first meal in Bintan. Lunch was at Lotus Café. This cafe is where we will be having our 3 meals for the next 3 days!
Keropok with the shiok chili!!
This is soooo good! We have endless servings of the keropok and chili! The chili is also for sale at US$25 for 1kg. We decided against getting cause it was quite pricey and thankful that almost every meal we had in Bintan serves this chili! :D :D

Not a fan of cakes but this cake is sooo good! It's the light Japanese style cheese cake and i regretted offering to share with 2 others cause I thought I wouldn't enjoy it wahaha!
After lunch, we went to Angsana Spa to take a look at their packages and some of the colleagues booked their session. One of our colleagues used to work for Banyan Tree and knew many there so we got good discounts!! (:
It was free and easy so a few of us checked out the beach and the pool while the rest of the colleagues took a free shuttle to Oleh Oleh (A small town) about 30 minutes away for some shopping and cheap massage.

It was slight high tide that afternoon so we could see some water over the rocks on the bridge! (It was dry the next day and unsightly!!) The water was really clear that someone asked me if she could snorkel there!! Sorry dear, you can't cause there's nothing except a few fish and crabs.
There's this wooden bridge which quite look like Christine's picture taken in Maldives lol! Had to annoy her by taking an exact same shot and sent her over Whatsapp. Wahahaha!

We walked over to Banyan Tree to check out the massages (miscalculated the distance!! There was up slopes and all, we took about 20 minutes to get there!!). Guests can get the buggy to ride you over!
Beautiful and quiet pool!!
Banyan Tree is the more expensive and renowned hotel and the place is really quiet and perfect resort for some unwinding.

Went back to Angsana or some cocktails before hitting the pool! The bar gave me 2 free drinks and wanted me to try and give my review. Of course, I am the worse person to offer drinks. Dawn the alcoholic, was all at smiles. Haha!

Time goes by really quickly when you have fun! We went back to bathe and freshened up and it was time for dinner! Dinner was at Pantai Grill and Beach Club! Barbecue nights were only available on Fridays! We were lucky while batch 2 of the colleagues weren't! (:

I told Dawn "Let's share a soup!". And she said okay, we finished the bowl within minutes, Dawn got a second serving and said Let's share again and I went back for a third bowl and we shared once again! Lol!
