Met up with Melody, Brad and Dawn for dinner sometime back. Melody recommended us to dine at Suprette at Kam Leng Hotel. Just like me, you may not have heard of this hotel. Melody did a shoot there and discovered this place!
Suprette is a compact restaurant bar cafe on eclectic Jalan Besar, that marries a neat menu of American-inspired food with a grown-up drinks list.
With Melody and Dawn (:
We ordered Seared Scallops and Crispy Pork from the Starters Menu. These are at about $16 each but the portions were so small! The starters are in the metal plates, portion of the complimentary Garden Salad.
Crispy Pork Bellyon Crostini which wasn't good. Neither crispy nor tender,
We also got The Suprette Burger which had good reviews for. The bread was good man. It was heavily buttered so it's very fragrant and toasted so it was slightly crisp.
Spicy Seafood Spaghetti which was served like herbal chicken. This was good too!
We also ordered Hanger Steak and Marrow to share.
The only person who ate Marrows was Brad. So that's a huge Marrow for him to finish!
The last item and best in our opinion was Ricotta and Spinach Stuffed Chicken Breast. There's bacon and apricot chutney.
We had thought that the meat would be tough like the pork belly. But it was so tender. I have almost never had chicken breast so tender before!
The mains were about $24 each and so much more affordable as compared to the Starters! Sorry, but never going to order their Starters again, actually. 3 out of 4 of our mains had fries, so we ate a lot of fries that evening. Thankfully that their fries was good.
With darling melody! (:
I like this picture of Mel, so classy and chio! Hehe!

We ended the evening with some pictures at the hotel lobby. Lighting there was dim so the photos weren't as well taken for this post.
