My Genting Experience!

Thank you Nuffnang and Resort World Genting for taking us to Genting! That's the first shot of the 4 of us taken at Singapore Immigration. I didn't realize that the Five Stars coach bus was posing for our picture too! :D

It's my first time taking a coach up to Genting with Five Stars and I got to say it's a really good ride up. The seats are so comfortable and relaxing! I'm not saying this because Five Stars is my client! :D

We promptly checked into Resort World Genting and we got adjoining rooms! Yay!

We left the room very quickly cause we were all famished from the 6 hours bus ride in.

We went to the nearby restaurant, Restoran Hainan Kitchen for lunch! (:

Now, introducing the other 3 bloggers who came along.

There's Rachell who is the youngest of us all. I always find her really pretty since our first encounter at Cineleisure Online Sensation where she and Peishi emerged as winners!

Yina, my team heroine partner for reelity TV online channel. She's like the leader of us all. She's good with directions and I love her colorful scarf LOL.

And that's Sarah! It's my first time meeting Sarah and she's a renowned baker who does baking full time. She gives classes too and i can't wait to join her baking class! :D

Food was served pretty quickly. But even though we are famished, we do what bloggers do best.

We quickly gobbled our food down because there's no time to waste! First up, we went to DiGi Mobile Store at First World Plaza to buy a prepaid card.

We shared a card which cost us $40 with talk time and internet!!! We were all dying for internet cause we wanted to instagram the fun we were having with our readers teehee!

The lighting in the store was so good we asked a sales assistant to help us take a group shot lol. GIRLS!

We were due for strawberry farm! Have heard and seen a lot about strawberry farm so we just had to go there!

It was a short walk to Genting Skyway where we took a cable car ride to the other side.

The cable car tickets cost RM$24. Pretty alright I must say!

Us piled into a cable car and camwhoring all the way to the other side. I was initially very frightened cause it was pretty steep and very very fogy!

There's a very cute strawberry buggy that charges RM2 per way that takes you to the strawberry farm which is about 5 minutes away.

Its free entry at the farms but when you wish to pluck some fruits and all, they will then charge you.

If you would like to self pluck the strawberries, the sales assistant will pass you a basket and scissors. The strawberries are sold by weight of 100g for RM6. 3 persons can share 1 basket. Cause we have 4 of us, we had to get 2 baskets to enter the farm. It's not obligatory so you may also leave the farm with an empty basket 9:

Let me show you how beautiful these flowers are and totally No filters!!!!

We walked the whole of the farm to see strawberries, flowers and mushrooms too and took a rest at the Strawberry cafe at the end of the farm and got some strawberry biscuit, drink and strawberry choco fondue! And that's the box of fresh strawberries we plucked.

We went back to the hotel for a little rest before heading for dinner at Bubbles and Bite for Pizza and Pastas.

This got to be my favorite of them all! It's really creamy and because there's 4 of us, it's not gelak at all! This is really the best mac and cheese I've tasted! Must order for cheese lovers! (:

Spiced tomato base, Spanish Chorizo, Italian Pepperoni, Turkey Ham, Onions, Mozzarella and more!!!

The waitress recommended us the Carnivore Pizza as it's their best seller there. I think it's not bad.

Later in the evening, we went for Spa at M Spa and Fitness. This is the life! Thank you NN and Genting for arranging spa sessions for us. We enjoyed it a lot! (:

We were there for a massage therapy and a body scrub! Yina, Sarah and I went for Balinese massage- Firm and kneading strokes to help relive muscular strains while Rachell decided to have swedish massage- Aromatic oil used for soothing massage because she's scared of pain.

We all chose marine body scrub that gently helps eliminated dead cells and impurities so skin becomes supple and brighter.

We started with soaking legs in this wooden tub. Hot steam is blown into the tub.

We split into 2 by 2 and got couple rooms. Some pictures of the room for you! (:

The couple room has a huge tub! And Rachell and I were so fascinated by it that we quickly took out our cameras to capture the huge room before our therapists came in.

We are ready!

And no more photos cause we did a scrub and it's pretty messy and i can't have my camera with me! It was an hour long body scrub and an hour massage. We really fell asleep because it's so relaxing. This is one of the best, or easily the best spa place i've visited. The place is so beautiful, it's hard not to think of when you want to make your next appointment after you completed a service there!

The therapists are very professional and they gave very good service. I'm sure they are very well-trained to bring up the M Spa name! (:

M Spa is filled with so many facilities that we spent a few hours there just relaxing! The girls enjoyed the sauna and dips. And we went back the next day for wrap and massage hehe!

After the spa, we went to the Casino at our hotel for a little look. We didn't really gamble but it was an eye opener for us to see the famous casinos of Genting! :D

We had supper at the 24/7 cafe at our hotel lobby before hitting the sack at 2am! We really spent the day to it's fullest!!! :D

Day 2

Breakfast at The Bakery. The Bakery sells pastries, danishes, cakes and bread. It has a wide variety of pretty cupcakes and also macarons!

Look what we ordered. We seemed always famished in Genting!

Quiche, Seafood, Ham/ Cheese Croissants, Donuts, Cheese Cake, Tiramisu, Fruit Muesli!

Spiderman Ride!!!

The 4 of us went for this ride. It had a pretty long queue not my heart was beating soo quickly cause it was not the usual ride where we were upright.

When we were strapped down, the 4 of us were like oh shit oh shit!!! Who's idea is this to take this ride!!! But... we enjoyed the ride!!! LOL! It wasn't too scary like it looked and it was really fun!

Holidays are like these. After lunch, we went back to the hotel rest again! lol! Eat Sleep Eat Sleep. How not to grow fat!! We woke up for another round of Spa at M Spa again. This time round we had chocolate wrap and massage. Yes! I said Chocolate wrap!!! It smells soooo good, I asked the therapist if it's true real chocolate and can i eat? LOL. Sorry no photos cause it's pretty messy.

After the spa session, we went for the best dinner of our holiday!

Day 3

Last day in Genting! Woke up feeling a little heavy cause it marks the end of my holiday. Back to reality, work and more work! Okay la, I drama a bit. I enjoy my job and i love my family and colleagues so it's not all depressing. Teehee

We went for Dim Sum at Hao You Ji - Restoran Good Friends! We were talking about dining at different restaurants everyday! I think we are good to be able to complete almost all the eateries.

This is superb! The highlight of our dim sum breakfast! We ordered 3 long of this cause it's really that good. I like the rich pandan flavored bun, complete with custard and salted egg filling. Oozes when you take a small bite.

We headed back to the hotel room to pack up our luggages. I said to the girls "I want say something to you all". I spoke a little louder as they were in midst of packing. I said: "Thank you for this trip. It's because of you girls and your company that made this trip so enjoyable!" So yes! Thank you Yina, Rachell and Sarah for all the fun we had those 3 days, I would miss all our cuddling and snoring hehehehe! :D
