Today's post is on Dress Sense! The last entry on Dress Sense is actually getting you guys to vote for your favorite blogger to be their Ambassador! (:
So this is my first post as Dress Sense Ambassador! Hehe! (:
Melody and I made a trip down to check out their new collection. Chester met up with us there as well cause we were going to pick gowns for our shoot! :D Excited much!
The very first gown I took was this! I remember seeing this dress over the facebook page and it was the first dress I was looking for. The night before, Chester and I was looking through the gowns online and I showed him a few that I want to try for our shoot. I was torn between getting a short cute dress and an elegant flowy gown, very much due to the fact that I'm petite and failure to pull off long dresses never fails to ring in my head. Thankfully for Dress Sense variety of long and short dresses, I was able to shortlist a few.

Melody: One Shoulder Crystal Short Dress by Nicole Bakti
Melody and I picked like 5 gowns each, very much reminded of playing dress up for my Barbie dolls as a kid. Definitely not everyday that we get to don on gowns and feel like a Princess. (:

Melody: One Shoulder Chiffon Printed Dress by Faviana
never failed to camwhore everytime we step out of the dressing room!
Melody looks so awesome in the flowy printed dress, I just had to have a go in it too!
Though only the 2nd gown we tried on, we were 100% certain that we were gonna bring this home at the end of our fitting (: In fact, we were there to pick just 1 gown but ended up getting 2 cause we were so spoilt for choice!

Another reason we love this number
We picked another 2 very similar dresses and headed to the fitting room.
It was fun having a Girlfriend join me cause we needed each other's help quite much! Zipping, unzipping. Adjusting! Hehehe! :D
See red!

We love the white dress but it was a tad too big for our frame. Dress Sense brings us gowns in sizes starting from Size 0.
Dress Sense does basic alteration as well, even for rented items. Prices start from $36 onwards for basic hemming and taking in of sides.
My go in the white one too! (:
Also available in Dress Sense are accessories and clutches.
Very much convenient cause we don't have to get a gown and later fret over where to get the perfect clutch to go along. The clutches there are sourced and brought in just to compliment the gowns.

Phew! We probably spend a whole good 2 hours trying on so many dresses!
We left the shop with 2 evening gowns, 2 accessories and a clutch. All on rental. Many a times, we need a gown just for that one occasion like Prom or a close friend/family wedding, so it's really pointless to make a pricey purchase and have the gown hung in the wardrobe for the rest of the years.

The concept in Dress Sense is one good pocket-friendly place. We are given the choice to rent/buy.
Leaving a happy girl! (:
The next Dress Sense post would be pictures from the photoshoot! (:
