I've been procrastinating to get the Bangkok posts ready cause the number of pictures in the SD card really scares the shit out of me! Zonia is much more hardworking than I am, she long started drafting the posts and had them published. Boohoo!
I started sorting the pictures only now (Sunday, 6th February) since it's the Chinese New Year holis and I've been slacking for days. I didn't turn on my laptop, let alone replied much emails. Bad bad girl. Just each day in BKK, we have about 200 photos a day. That's the same number we had for the Hong Kong trip! If you haven't realized, I created an additional tab to hold the Hong Kong posts for easier reference to the trip! Another reason is also cause i spent A LOT of time getting those posts ready! Teehee! So go read through if you haven't or read through AGAIN if you are visiting Hong Kong soon! I've noted down all the MUST-VISIT shopping places, tourists sites and restaurants!
Bangkok Day 1.

Zonia went there 4 days earlier. She followed my Aunt and her young daughter we had a meeting at Pattaya.
I even bought a prepaid card that has internet access at the airport while waiting for airport transfer to our hotel. (:
We had to wait till about 2PM for the rooms to be ready so as Platinum Mall was just nearby, we decided to walk over for lunch first! I remember reading that there is a rather popular and affordable Japanese restaurant there.
All the wholesalers in City Plaza probably buy their stocks from here. Most blogshops owners as well. The things there are dirt cheap. Dresses are probably only SGD$6 onwards!
There was quite a queue since it was lunch time!

The bill came up to about SGD$40+. That's very cheap for so much food right! (: (: (:
The downside about this restaurant is that their tables are all very small, so my aunts and cousin had to take the next table!
After lunch, we walked back to our hotel to check in! (:
Yippeee doo! Our favorite hotel in Bangkok has got to be Baiyoke Sky, the tallest building in Thailand!
Their hotel is 81 stories high I think?
Was disappointing we got a lower level this trip, the last trip a few years back, we stayed on the 61st level? ):
Zonia and I had a room to ourselves.
The room is hugeeeeeee! (We later changed to another bigger room cause we came to realize this room is a smoking room! )

For the past years we visit BKK, we always come to his massage parlor which is near our hotel.
A Full body massage is at like 198 baht for 1 hour, less than SGD$8!
We ended up having massages everyday. lol!

The night markets start to open. I remember one of our previous trips to BKK, this lady who opens a stall tells us that they come after work. So they hold 2 jobs a day. Really hardworking huh!
Zonia and I bought a bag each from this uncle.
This is where I got my pink red bag with gold buckle that everyone asked about! (:
Really cheap, 200 baht = SGD$8.

This is the hotel, Aroma Hotel, we stayed in the very first time we visited Bangkok!
It's also very very convenient cause it's also in the shopping district. The down-side is that it's very old already.
