There were many comments and emails asking me where to get pretty gowns for Grad night, Dinner and Dance, special anniversaries and even weddings! I've got just the place for you!

I went down to their shop, located conveniently at Raffles City #03-29A, end of December to take a look at their new collections! I was welcomed with many new gowns some of which are great international brands like Jovani and Faviana! So I was really trilled when I got to pick up 2 outfits to try and share to all of you!
I spend a good 30 minutes picking up about 5 gowns before deciding on 2 that flatters me best! The gowns were all so great, so I had to find gowns that I could carry and definitely not the other way round! (;
That's the lady boss getting me all ready for picture time! She got me a pair of matching dangling earrings to wear with the gown! Cause we were spolit for choice, I switched about 2 pairs so to get us the perfect pair that looked best!
As a kid, I have always watched fairytale stories and day-dreamt of being in one of those pretty flamboyant gowns like the Princesses. I'm not sure if you had those breath-taking moments like I had but visiting Dress Sense was like a dream come true. I had the gowns all lined nicely, a very polite store assistant who would assist me on the latest arrivals as well as sizing.
So here's the very first dress I picked up and excited to share!
Girls who are around my build, 1.6m would feel that long dresses would make you appear shorter, and the fact that it is very uncomfortable to be in. I have done some research and here's one that talked about Best Dresses for Petite Women. Besides vertical details and wrap style, it's recommended that if we want to have long dresses with sleek cut on, have them all the way to the floor cause it will have an elongating effect! (:

I chose this little dress cause I'm of a rather petite frame and longer dresses usually do not suit me as well. I love the colors of this piece cause it's simplicity exudes classiness and demureness.
We decided to throw on a pair of shell-like chunky necklace which looked as if it was made for the dress ! The colors complement so well, I started to think of Dress Sense as a one-stop boutique for my gowns/accessories and clutch! Yes, the gold clutch is also available for sale/rent! I think you're really pretty! But I feel that your contact lenses are little too much for you because when you smile it just makes your eye look like a complete darkhole. Just my opinion. :)

Hi, first time commenting, find ur blog very interesting. Do those gown have sizes and how's the price?
i beg to differ. i think anyone can look pretty in makeup. even the ugliest duckling. look up the taiwanese entertainment show. The girls are really ugly. but makeup does wonders!
And why does singaporean thinks that skinny is pretty? in fact, as a guy, i think if my girl has alittle flesh, it wld be much nicer.
But above all, character is more important.
So loosen up girls! looks aint everything.
Just a harmless thought of mine. =)
