Woke up really early on the day of my 4D3N trip to Hong Kong! My family and I decided to extend our stay for another 2nights because it was sooooo much fun! The flight was at 6.45am so my family had to be up by 3 and leave home by 4am! Afraid that I'd feel tired, I was in bed before 9 the night before! Teehee! Cabbed to Changi Airport and met my Godma who came along for the trip!
Mabel's pink Hello Kitty luggage!
All ready to enter the Departure Gates at T3!
Reached HK and the weather was awesome! It was as if the air conditioner was switched on everywhere! Haha! Cabbed to our first stop, Disney's Hollywood Hotel!
The furniture and deco were so pretty as they followed the disney theme! Zonia was so happy to see Mickey everywhere!
Met up with the HK Disneyland team where they passed me my entry tickets, meal coupons together with this cute Mickey covered Disneyland Media Guide which featured information of the various rides, food and beverage outlets and entertainment in Disneyland! It was so helpful in helping my family get around the place and decide on where to dine!
Boarding the shuttle bus to the HK Disneyland Hotel, the newer hotel! The shuttle bus drives visitors to three stops; Disney's Hollywood Hotel, HK Disneyland Hotel and the Disneyland Park itself!
A meal was arranged for my family at the Crystal Lotus Restaurant in HK Disneyland Hotel! The entrance was so pretty and a projected digital koi pond beneath the see through floor welcomed us! Young children were so excited to see the red and silver tropical fish and started to step on the fish! Upon stepping, rushing water is heard and ripples would be spread as the fish dart away to safety. Ultra cute interactive feature which caught the attention of many!
The lunch menu prepared for my family! I was salivating just reading through the menu! Piggy Mask bun, Little Pig barbecue Pork bun, Little Green Men Pork and Vegetable Bun, Mickey Seafood Glutinous Pancake, Disney Root Vegetables and Tasmanian Crabmeat omg so cute!
Piggy Mask Bun with Roasted Suckling Pig!
Little Pig barbecue Pork bun and Little Green Men Pork and Vegetable Bun! So cute I couldnt bear to eat it!
Mickey Seafood Glutinous Pancake
Double boiled Chicken and Conpoy Soup in Coconut
We ordered side dishes; Roast geese!
With the ee fu noodles!
Fried Rice with Tasmanian Crabmeat stuffed in Whole Crab Shell
Wok fried shrimps and Disney Root Vegetables and our dessert, Double boiled Whole Chinese Pear topped with Aged Mandarin Peel. Yummy!
Took a walk after the sumptuous 6course lunch and entered the Disney boutique shop at the hotel itself! Love the layout and design!
We bumped into Cinderella and managed to get a picture or two with her!
After lunch, it was time to INVADE Disneyland Resort!
Mickey welcomed us on top of a hugeeee fountain! NICE!
Awesome weather to visit Disneyland and enjoy the various rides!
First up was the Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters! It was a shooting game where we were armed with infrared lasers to cooperate with Buzz Lightyear to defend against the Earth against the evil Emperor Zurg. There was a lighted display in the space vehicles which allows the guests to keep score and determine their rank!
Look at the vibrant colours! So appealing to the kids! Even I was awed by the amazing display!
Looked through the store after the ride and saw some cutesy keychains!
Mickey and Minnie were seen all over the resort! (:
Mickey's Candy Shop! Such pretty display of colours and designs!
Next up is the Jungle river Cruise!
We had a guide on board the boat who brought us along different set ups! There, we met elephants that sprayed water, came into close contact with crocodiles and even horrid skulls and skeletons!
We even came face to face with FIRE that came onto the water surface and almost burnt our boat! We felt the heat of the flames! All these set ups were SO REAL! And yes, the mentions were all set ups that were as good as real!
Mad Hatter Tea Cups! One of my favourite when I visit parks like these!
Ready for the ride!
We were all having so much fun! Frantically controlling the direction and speed of our cup!
As it was nearing 5pm, we headed to The Golden Storybook Theatre for the Golden Mickey Show! It was so entertaining with all the music, Disney characters and pretty emcee who took part in the musical as she sang melodiously and danced gracefully during the 30mins!
The emcee, Bebe in the white pants suit!
Beauty and the Beast Prince!
Lilo and Stitch, Little Mermaid!
Lilo and Stitch, Little Mermaid!
It was such an awesome show that the applause from the audience was overwhelming!
HAHA with Minnie Mouse Hairband!
The scenery when night falls...
Met up with my parents, and I bet they had a fun time visiting the Disney shops and rides as well!
As it was nearing Dinnertime, we headed to Plaza Inn restaurant!

My fav Roasted Suckling Pig again! With jellyfish!
I was soo hungry after a long day! haha!
Cornsoup, Braised Tofu, Cuttlefish, Shrimps and Brocoli and Golden Mushroom and Lettuce! They were delicious!
Cornsoup, Braised Tofu, Cuttlefish, Shrimps and Brocoli and Golden Mushroom and Lettuce! They were delicious!
And steamed fish! (:
I left dinner halfway through just to catch the 15 minutes fireworks display at 7pm-8pm! Yes, the sky was dark even before the clock turned 6 as it was winter! (just not that cold) It was spectacular! And fireworks are displayed every day so be sure not to miss it if you visit Disneyland! (:
So colourful!
We took a walk after dinner around the Main Street, USA into the shops patronised by many tourists! I decided to get some gifts for my colleagues and friends!
Daddy was so greedy, He insisted that Zonia take a picture of him with 2 Mickeys and 2 Minnies!
Minnie apron and cutlery!
A wide variety of Disney Products for the entire family!
A wide variety of Disney Products for the entire family!
We finally headed back to the Disney's Hollywood Hotel after our long day which started at 3am!
Day 2 started with Breakfast at Enchanted Garden over at Disneyland Hotel!
This place is amazing, let the pictures prove themselves!
Greeted by this beautiful wall just outside Enchanted Garden.
The spread offered was awesome! It had Chinese, Western and even Japanese Cuisine. I started off with the Chinese Dim-Sum as I was in the Land of Dim Sum! :)
The ultra-cute waffles and pancakes in the shape of Mickey! Madlove!
It was a meet and greet session with the Disney Characters over breakfast and there! My family had a picture taken with Mickey! Many were awed by his appearance which caused quite a commotion, but really, who could resist Mickey?
Pretty Daisy! She was in demand as well!
Daisy was so petite and popular with the other families that I had to wait quite some time before she came over to my table! Finally a picture with Daisy!
Within the hotel, there's a little princess room where parties for the little ones are held! An excellent venue to hold parties which would be a memorable experience for the kids and their families.
Love the design, it instantly made me feel like one too!
We headed to Disneyland for the 2nd time to complete the rides we haven yesterday! Teehee!
Starting off with the Cinderella Carousel, it was such a pretty sight with all the beautifully built horses and carriages.

The rides in Disneyland are specially for families so my parents had fun too!.......
One of the other rides we all took together was The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh!
The sight during the ride was amazing, the lightings, pop-up effects, my family couldn't stop reiterating how nice the ride was! It was no wonder the ride had a long queue but as there were many honey pots, the visitors didn't have to wait long before it was their turn!
Eeyore and Pooh looked really cute! Took a picture of my parents and was glad to know that they were enjoying their time too!
Zonia and I, she loved the ride too!
We were caught in action! Quite funny to see that we were all looking in different directions!
We decided we were all hungry after the rides, we settled lunch atStarliner Diner!
As there were so many other places such as Comet Cafe which serves Jiangnan Cuisine, Tahitian Terrace Restaurant specialising in South Asian and Cantonese-style cooking in barbecue, River View Cafe and more, we were spoilt for choice!
Daddy was enjoying his favourite fried chicken! With gloves! HK style! (:
Phew! The day didn't just end at the yummy lunch, we headed out of Lantau Island and headed to Kowloon!
My family checked into Prudential Hotel located just at Jordan MRT MTR. Really convenient location to reside cause shopping districts are all around the corner. 1 station away from Tsim Sha Tsui, 1 station to Yau Ma Tei and 2 stations from Mong Kok! (In fact, these places are walking distance from the hotel!!!)
The weather wasn't as cold there so we changed into casuals and headed SHOPPING!!!
We decided to take Hong Kong the Hong Kong way so it was getting tickets for the MTR!! My single trip ticket pass
A few pictures taken on the streets of Mong Kok!
the lighted city
Mr Softee bus!
My whole family had so much fun in Disneyland I bet they would share with their friends who plan to visit with their children. I definitely would! After all, who could resist Mickey show as well as the gorgeous Princesses in their gowns! Click here for more information on Disneyland's tickets and reservations!
There are so many more places that we visited the next few days such as Macau's Ruins of St Paul Church, Ngong Ping 360, Avenue of Stars and even took the train to Shenzhen! Omg, I can't wait to share Nu Ren Jie and Temple Street! Argyle Centre - the shopping paradise for girls of ALL AGES!
In Hong Kong, there are so many places of interest and definitely a shopping paradise!
I will definitely share more in the upcoming posts, so wait up!!!
