Backtrack a little to the day of Deepavali Holiday, B and I met up in the evening for dinner (:
I remember not having any lunch or proper breakfast that day cause my family were just too occupied with their own stuff. Zonia was setting up a blog, Daddy was playing with the new cable, Mommy was reading up on her driving book while I was obviously, blogging. I spend 80% of my time on the laptop that has been with me since I started my diploma at SIM, that is like 4 years already? My laptop was courtesy of Daddy and Mommy cause I needed 1 for projects. Cause of my saver personality, I haven't shopped for a new one even when this Dell laptop has been showing signs that it's failing me. I've got messages that say "Battery is reaching the end of its workable life". Like seriously, this is no virus attacked. But as a matter of fact, this laptop is so old already, i bet it has been swarmed with viruses.
I told Mommy I needed to get a new laptop when the 1st error message came up and I remember pulling B to follow me to an IT fair to check out on some laptops. All ready to part with a few thousand dollars for a brand new baby. I also remember walking out after no longer than 10 minutes cause I felt that since the laptop hasn't completely died, I can still wait for a few more months and IT fairs are so frequent nowadays anyway. So i walked out, empty handed.
Okay. Before this entry turns out to be a "Should I or should not get a new laptop" post, let me go back to Deepavali night with B at Cityhall.
B was in charge of ordering us dinner

First time ordering this, its Mad delicious! Now i've got a new main dish to order at Jappy restaurants! It has always been Garlic Rice or Teriyaki Don. Either or.

B ends up eating all the salmon every time we order this! Not sure why, but I can't really take the fishy taste of the salmon cooked this way.

A hungry girl, i ate the last soft shell crab and last 2 salmon sushi!
B and I walked the new path from Raffles City basement to Esplanade MRT. Followed by to Marina Square! The new walk ways are damn awesome! So much space created for so many new shops! Try walking one day! We walked on to Suntec City and there was this Teenage magazine exhibition at one of the halls that was soooo badly received. The hall was so small, there were so little people and B was so glad he did not sponsor the show!
We walked on to the other hall; Food safari and IT equipment exhibition if im not wrong. Wonder if it's cause of budget constraints, they decided to merge these 2 together. The smell from the varieties of food actually filled both halls! There was Taiwan street food being sold too, imagine smelly tofu for sale there too!
Not as adventurous as B when he was in Taiwan, we settled for a bowl of Tao Suan dessert (:
