I'm sure most of us have heard of the fairytale Rapunzel before; the girl with the luscious, blond locks that we love and can only dream of.
Well, I was one of the lucky ones invited to the movie premiere of Rapunzel: A Tangled Tale on the 22th of Nov!
RAPUNZEL: A TANGLED TALE, presented by Walt Disney pictures, is a cheeky retelling of the Brothers Grimm's original fairy tale, Rapunzel.
When the kingdom’s most wanted—and most charming—bandit Flynn Rider (voice of Zachary Levi) hides out in a mysterious tower, he’s taken hostage by Rapunzel (voice of Mandy Moore), a beautiful and feisty teen with 70 feet of magical, golden hair who was imprisoned in the tower all her life by Mother Gothel.
Flynn’s curious captor, who’s looking for her ticket out of the tower where she’s been locked away for years, strikes a deal, where he will escort her through the wilderness to the kingdom, where she'll finally get to behold the annual festival of lights. So together with the handsome thief, the unlikely duo set off on an action-packed escapade, complete with a super-cop horse Maximus, an over-protective yet lovable chameleon Pascal and a gruff gang of pub thugs.
Well for starters this movie is definitely not for girls only-there's plenty of action in the film to warrant a second look from the boys too! Together with 3D, the entire experience is one that combines beautiful animation, stunning realism, and a nice little plot that never seems to bore even though you probably already know the storyline if you're familiar with the tale.
What I enjoyed most was the right mix of action, humor, as well as the occasional heart wrenching moments, in which you can feel so much for the actors and actresses, despite them being animations. Pop princess Mandy Moore acts her part as the lovely yet feisty Rapunzel and I couldn't help being charmed by the wits and good looks of bad boy Flynn! Watch out for the adorable Pascal...
and Maximus the horse!!
Though the movie is by and large a musical, the scores never get tiring, and the various songs are always refreshing and never repetitive. If anything, the beautiful voice of Mandy Moore is certainly worth listening to!
If you haven't caught a 3D movie in your life before, take a chance on Rapunzel! I've always been skeptical of 3D movies but if there is one which is worth its weight in gold this will be it! Most importantly, I think all of us enjoy love stories that end well and the beautiful romance between Rapunzel and Flynn will definitely warm your hearts!

Well, all you need to do is to go to Magical Hair and follow 3 simple steps:
1) Take a self portrait of your own hairdo
2) Upload your picture
3) Get your friends to "LIKE" the picture!!!
Here's my very own participating picture!
All I needed was a curling tong! I used it at only at the ends!
1. Split the hair into 2 parts first!
2. Start with the either side of the hair.
3. Take up a small bunch of hair and curled it inwards to achieve the inwards curls!
4. Do the same for both sides of the hair!
P/s: Don't forget to use before styling hair spray before tonging the hair because we still want tip top hair condition like Rapunzel's!! (:

Hi dear! The spray i mentioned in this post is the before styling spray that moisturize the hair before heating is done! Its from lucido-l! I dont use any sprays or clay cause i dont like hard hard hair! (:
