Simple makeup tutorial everyone will be capable of! (:
I will cover two looks in this post,
- Every day look.
- Photoshoot look!
Let's go!!!
Start off with the necessities in my make-up pouch.
concealer
rose blusher
freshkon alluring eyes contact lens
eyeliner/falsies
So its just stick outer lash bone in first before inner lash, leave it to dry; eye closed.
Unless you have parallel double eyelids, try not to stick falsies too close to the inner eyelid cause it would prick when you open your eyes fully.
For girls who have have tapered double eyelids like myself, will face this problem.
I only lengthen my brows by 1 cm recently cause it has been wrongly shaped, shortly! After lengthening by 1cm, I blend it slightly upwards so there won't be hard lines, I do not color my brows cause its really dark on its own already!
You can add a layer of gloss to complete the look but cause my lips are naturally pink already, i leave that step out. I have a habit of using Vaseline every night before I sleep cause aircon dries the lips. Another habit is to lick my lips unknowingly that results in glossy lips where readers previously were misled (:

After I have my make-up base on, I would start off with my blusher!
I use Sunbase from Beauty Credit at about $100, has Coenzyme Q10 that helps eliminate free radicals that causes blemishes, wrinkles, crow feet, sagging and rough skin. I like it cause it has sun protection factor and Q10 benefits!
Using my brush from The Body Shop, I usually brush upwards, but I've seen girls who prefer the Japanese Kawaii look and they concentrate the blusher at the cheeks.
I usually buy rose-colored blushers, the brand doesn't really matter. Have been on Loreal blushers for quite awhile cause I had $1000 worth of Loreal products to redeem from one of my pageants!
After my blusher, I would go for my Concealer!

With a sponge, dab gently around the eye.
You can get these sponges from The Body Shop or Sasa outlets! They are very cheap so I would change sponges every few days.
After concealer, it's time for your pair of alluring eyes!
I use Freshkon's Magnetic Grey! Its one of their 2 new colors, the other, Mesmeric Black!

For girls who are new with an eyeliner, you would want to start from the outer lash bone (1/2 way) before drawing to connect the front.
Super heart Dolly Wink and Heroine Make's shaker liquid eyeliner cause it's really lasting and black, guaranteed smudge-free! Both brands carry pencil liners as well for starters!

After the 3 simple steps, we have Look 1; Every day Look
So all you need is a make-up base, blusher, concealer and an eyeliner or even a thin pair of falsies.
If you are planning on a dinner date, we can just move on from this look!
All we need to bring in is falsies and eye shadows.
I like dark colors like dark purple, brown, black for my eyes.
Make-up brush from Sasa, I have the eye shadow slightly over the eye socket.
Before the dark colors come in, always bring in a light eyeshadow.

Cause we started with a light color of the whole eye lid, the dark colors will be easier to blend. We won't want sudden dark colors!
Moving on, its falsies!

Thicker lashes from Heroine Make and eye lash glue from Dolly Wink!
Apply a layer of glue on the lash bone and leave it to dry/blow it for about 10 seconds.

Glue becomes sticker when it's not too wet.
So its just stick outer lash bone in first before inner lash, leave it to dry; eye closed.

Last step would be to draw another liner to hide/blend falsies' bone.
You can see my natural lashes of my left eye separated from the falsies. I think it's okay so I leave the mascara out. My lashes are considered long but are not thick enough and for girls who's lashes appear too far away from the falsies can apply a layer of mascara to stick lash to the falsies.
The next lower eyeliner step is very individual cause some girls look better without the additional line.
Make sure the top and bottom eyeliner lines join!

Hi Manda! Firstly, I feel that the shaker eyeliner is suitable for first timers cause the brush is thick enough though liquid! The brush is not too soft that cause difficulties in drawing a line. So no worries about it yea! (:

I always plan my time well enough i guess. I would key in my appts in the iPhone and read through it the day before so i would be able to organize my time well enough so not to miss or be late for any!
Its vital to keep the dates and times down cause you dont want to "overbook" yourself and of course some allowance for quick break!
Start by having an organizer! Its the supposed way of bring organized and thats why im gonna go shop for 1 for 2011!!! (:

Hi Gen! Makeup bases makes 1 fairer slightly. If you go to certain brands like etude house, i think they have color codes for the bb creams! You might be able to find a suitable shade? (:
Just to share, when i have breakouts from time to time - especially on forehead, i would clip my hair up and put nothing at all (: Cause make-up has chemicals that would worsen the condition! I'm sure we all want to cure the scars and not just cover them and see them multiply by the day! (:
