It was Ah Gong's birthday on 31st of August.
So we went over to Toa Payoh to pick my grandparents for dinner nearby (:
Had wanted to settle dinner at Crystal Jade but the folks wanted Soup restaurant just next door (:
So there we were.

So-so to me. Maybe cause i just had my braces tightened earlier that night! I couldn't bite well.
It's my first time giving a red packet to my Grandparents. Really glad that it made Ah Gong happy (: though he called to say i shouldn't have given so much. He even called Gugu Julie to tell her about it, and she smsed me to say Ah Gong is very happy and that im a good girl (:
Don't you think small things like that brightens someone important's day is really all worth it?
What's working a little harder, doing a few more shoots, a few more advertorial post?

You know, you're not the prettiest model around but you're one of the most popular around the whole blogshopping scene. Which is odd. I thought usually the prettiest would be the most popular.
(Don't get me wrong, I think you're a pretty girl and all. Plus I'm def. Not a hater)
But I think you deserve your fame, cause judging from your posts, you're a very sweet girl :)
And I hope you'll continue blessing your family through what you do/earn !

And I think that you truly deserved this so-called "self-praise" of yours because most of us usually give allowances to our parents but neglected our grandparents, as a result!
Furthermore, which of us could actually stand up and say that we have totally stopped taking allowances from our parents ever since we turned 19?
Anyway, keep up the good work Zoe and don't ever let naysayers (although I'm not referring to the 1st anonymous because she was nice and polite in her comment) keep you down! Think happy thoughts! :D
